I recently went up to Huntington Beach to shoot a brand new restaurant at the Hyatt resort called, "Watertable". The decor of the restaurant was very cool, kind of a mix of contemporary and almost middle eastern with a few antiques thrown in. The food was beautifully plated and I got some great shots. I was lucky enough to get a few bites in before I was done and would highly recommend the food there. So, if you ever find yourself up in Huntington, check out this place!

Paul Basile
Hi All,
It's been a while since my last post but I'm back!! Anyway the other day I got to shoot photos of well known San Diego Architect, Paul Basile in his workshop. He has his own fabrication warehouse connected to his office so we decided to utilize that aspect of his work and shot in and around the machines he uses in his design and architecture. Here are a few shots that I really liked.

A few weeks back I got to photograph some food and portraits at the new restaurant in North Park, Waypoint Public. It's located in the old Linkery restaurant on 30th. The interior is great complete with a playground for the kiddoes. Fortunately for me I got to sample the food I shot and it was delicious. Check it out if when you can!

Wine Maker
I'm happy to report I am once again shooting for Riviera Magazine after a hia
tus. This is the publication that really helped me get to where I want to be professionally and I am very grateful to be working with them again. On Friday I had the opportunity to photograph Michael Christiansen, a local businessman who has become a winemaker on the side without a vineyard a per tradition. We had a great time shooting at Rose Wine Pub in South Park and I look forward to going back there and sipping some great wine.

Last week I shot food photos for a new restaurant in Hillcrest called Salt and Cleaver. It's specialty is sausages and microbrew beers. Of course I got to sample the cuisine and it was incredible, I highly recommend!
